Project Scenario
Ryders Eyewear is a Vancouver, BC based brand that designs sunglasses for mountain bikers and people who love outdoor activities. Ryders wanted to migrate from their stand-alone Woo Commerce platform to Magento/Adobe Commerce 2 multi-store environment, expanding to have both US and Canadian stores.
The Result
PPWD worked closely with the Ryders team to create their new stores. We seamlessly integrated the two new stores into an existing Magento/Adobe Commerce 2 Commerce platform that was already hosting other brands’ stores for their parent company, FGXI. PPWD designed unique front-end UX/UI features to help customers easily select the right frames and lenses. The re-platform effort also transitioned Ryders onto their email marketing platform Bronto, which worked flawlessly at launch. We also added Fastly as the CDN to increase site performance.
