Hanna Instruments is a scientific and analytical instrumentation company that makes a variety of testing equipment for multiple industries. With over 47 years of experience, they are well known as an innovator of affordable, high-quality, and user-friendly testing equipment. They are headquartered in Rhode Island but operate in 44 countries around the world and are vertically integrated, meaning they make everything in-house and don’t outsource anything. Hanna Instruments needed to move their existing site, that was split on HubSpot and BigCommerce, to be entirely on BigCommerce. Seeing that PPWD was a leading BigCommerce Agency, they tasked PPWD with the challenge.
The Result
PPWD was able to take Hanna Instruments’ existing headless website, that was half on HubSpot and half on Big Commerce, and move it fully to BigCommerce with some design upgrades. PPWD made sure that all apps and integrations transitioned over seamlessly and continued to perform as well as before. PPWD ensured that all order numbers matched up to their current system after the transition to guarantee that and over 3,000 products were on both their sandbox and production. PPWD is now working on SEO for the website and will monitor and suggest changes for implementation so they they can be found better organically.
