Project Scenario
Natural Life is a boutique lifestyle brand with a bohemian theme based in Ponte Vedra, Florida. Brand recognition had grown exponentially over the years and Natural Life was encumbered by an ecommerce site with numerous issues negatively impacting the customer experience. The non-performant site experienced slow page loads, checkout errors, missing orders, and they were dependent on an older version of Magento/Adobe Commerce due to a number of incompatible customizations and redundant 3rd party modules installed on the site.
The Result
PPWD performed a thorough codebase audit and worked closely with the Natural Life Team to create a tactical approach to address the numerous issues that they were facing. This included a migration to a new web host (Webscale), and introduction of a new CDN (Fastly). PPWD was also able to address the persistent lingering performance issues through a site upgrade and limiting their dependency on 3rd party modules. PPWD also introduced new features and functionality by way of integrations with Klevu, Yotpo and Navar. Site search was also improved significantly through an upgrade to Elasticsearch.
